Having recently built a new Moxon vise, my old one is now for sale. This has been completely refurbished, and is not only like new, but has all the features of my recent Moxon build.
This Moxon has 1 1/2" diameter wooden screws, and built throughout in Jarrah. There is 21"/535mm between the screws.
Finished in Livos Oil and waxed. The screws are also waxed and have a dry PTFE lubricant for s-m-o-o-th turning.

At the rear of the vise is a flip up-down spacer ...

The purpose of this is to raise the pin board above the chop - especially for through dovetails - to prevent it getting cut up when transferring marks with a knife. The "crubber" (cork-rubber) acts as a non-slip ...

The spacer is also grooved with a sliding dovetail to take MicroJig clamps (sold by Timbecon) ...

Here it is in the "down" position ...

The spacer is dropped away to facilitate sawing. The chop is bevelled to enable the saw to get closer to the work piece ..

Here is an overhead view, with the board rest at the rear (this is included). The board rest also has crubber for scratch-free non-slip ..

The moxon vise may either be attached to the bench with hold downs ...

The original vise used leather on the chops. This has been replaced with crubber (it is Expensive!).
Also note the wooden inserts on the sides. These fill a 3mm deep mortice which was part of a past experiment. The repair is unseen once the vise is together.

OK, so how much am I asking for this very special bench fixture? The price is $325 (excluding postage).
I have no ideal what postage would cost. The total length of the vise is 825mm (32 1/2") and the chop is 110mm (4 1/4") high. It is 105mm (4 1/8") deep.
Payment by direct deposit.
