Have a “What’s on the bench” WIP page where your members can showcase what they’re playing with. It doesn’t have to be anything big or pretty, it can be a new tool or a project or even a picture of the bare surface having removed all the detritus that seems to cover a workbench the very second you look the other way...
Our shed is using zoom but it gets pretty chaotic once there are more than about 6 people using it at the same time. In one session we had 12 present and I think it was too much. Zoom is more designed for larger meetings where a moderator is in control. I use zoom for a group of 4 mates and find its excellent for small numbers. Our Family uses messenger for up to about 8 people but there are a few quite ones (ie mum) that doesn't say much.
Our shed also has reduced the time between SHED newsletters from once a month to once a week with members sending in any projects they are working on at home for redistribution.
