Alternatives to Triton Workcentre 2000?
I'd love to have a Triton Workcentre (2000 series) to use my circular saw as an alternative to a table saw while I save up for a proper machine. But they're no longer in production and the workcentres Triton makes now are designed for their power tools only.
Is there an alternative to the Triton Workcentre that I would be able to use? Or would I be better off making something myself?
And while I am thinking of it, are Triton Workcentres accurate? I can't help but think that they might not be especially accurate due to the light sheet metal construction (which would lead to vibrations and therefore inaccuracies).
This is basically a double post of sorts - I posted it in the wrong section originally as I misread woodturning for woodworking... That thread has been reported though! :-
