I’ve used Axminster Tools in the UK on a number of occasions. Generally very good prices and quick delivery, although it may be delayed with all that’s going on.
I’ve got some parts coming from Holland by DHL and the Dutch company reckons about 45 days at the moment.
Just checked and unfortunately Axminster don't have what I'm chasing - which is odd as I would have expected a site with such a large range to have them for sure:no:
It's easy to get trapped with DHL - they have two levels of service - one uses DHL aircraft etc and is very quick, the other gets put into the postal system in Germany / Holland etc and about 45 days is pretty accurate at the moment.Quote:

I've been happy with "The Tool Post" for pricing and delivery (pre-apocalypse) times...
Also "The Turners Workshop" had fair pricing.
Happy shopping !

Got my Robert Sorby ProEdge from Woodturning Tools, Woodworking Supplies And Machinery - Poolewood - great service
Perhaps if you mentioned what you are after thats not available here then someone may have more chance of putting you on the right track. In the past I have had a few items from Axminster plus ebay uk places but you really need to take into account shipping costs and GST to see if its worthwhile.

many thanks for the replies everyone. Late this afternoon I managed to get hold of one here in Australia - one of those "the computer and the website says we are out of stock but I'm sure I've still got one here somewhere...." stories. Hopefully it should be here on Wednesday
