Hello Everyone
Just thought i'd make my first post and say G'day to everyone.
I've always tinkered in the shed with various projects but seem to be getting into woodworking a lot more now.
I have a couple of projects on the go...
Building a 16 foot plywood/fibreglass composite bass boat
Making/carving my own fishing lures
Constructing a box for a custom leather archery bow/arrow quiver, arm guard & belt for my neice for her 16th
I just finished a box for my brother's 40th, i had a custom leather archery arm guard made for him.
I'm really enjoying my journey back into woodworking which i really enjoyed at school and my boys are very keen to help and learn and do their own projects too.
Thanks for having me,
Craig

Thanks for the welcome Guys,
Its a bit daunting joining a new forum/community.
I have been on a number of fishing forums over the years, some i ended up with thousands of posts but this is daunting as i'm such a woodworking novice

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Craig".
There are quite a stack members around Melbourne and cross Victoria plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.....
Cheers crowie
PS - Watch out for local Melbourne get togethers, great way to meet like minded forum members & network; once the lockdown has finished of course...
