You got that right Crowie!!!
I have really come to appreciate those that make plans after making scratch build models.
He has to build a model and figure out all the steps needed to help someone else build it.
I also like the work Ducky does with the blown up plans using SketchUp,
helps you get an idea of the build before you even touch a chunk a wood.
Really nice looking bus Bruce. :2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:
Top stuff

Keith
Don’t hate me Dutchy but I just didn’t have the gumption to drill all them dowels to make hand rails over all the seats so I’m calling my seats upholstered hand railed seats. :2tsup:
Here's what it should have looked like.

But mine are much easier to make.

There doesn’t seem to be as much to be done to the up stairs so maybe it will go a little easier, I hope. :no:
I have all the parts cut out just got to fiddle with it and get er done.
Top work as always Bruce.
Looks fantastic

Certainly coming along well Bruce and the personal adaptation are always good.
Cheers Peter
More chairs.
It was a lot easier putting the chairs in with out the sides on.

Just the right length once sanded.
I all ways like going a little long and sand it to fit.

Now just button er up and add all the little doodads.
I didn’t add any details to the out side till I could sand the sides and get every thing to match up.
As I said in an earlier post I was having trouble with the sides cupping so had to do some extra sanding to get it under control.
I also had to switch the upper sides so the cupping would be to the inside so worked out but now the grain on the sides top and bottoms don’t match up like they should have.
One of those things that if I hadn’t said any thing most would never have noticed.

That’s fantastic.. almost want to climb on board for a ride it looks so realistic.Almost want it to be red :D but that may take away from the natural timber. So what’s the finishing plan?
Once I get some trim and a few other doodads on will be covering it with Danish Oil "natural" and then may touch up a few places with "Walnut" Danish oil to make the trim POP!!!
When one just looks at the last set of photos it seems an easy project!
BUT......
The Work In Progress photos show the truth, that it’s an incredible amount of precision measuring, cutting, trimming, and fitment to make the model look so good!
NICELY DONE BRUCE :clap::clap: :hooray:
Cheers Peter
A beautiful project Bruce - superbly done.:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:
