Can anyone vouch for Frezite blades?
I need to kit up my 3HP 12" cabinet saw with some proper blades. The combo blade that came with it is okay, but I want some better quality blades with some different capabilities.
This thread was very informative. https://www.woodworkforums.com/f153/table-blades-216450
My local resharpening service sells/recommends Frezite and says they're similar to AKE - both good quality European made blades.
305mm 48z ATB to use as a general purpose blade runs about $100 which I reckon is cheap.
A 24z FTB ripping blade about the same.
Later, I'd probably want a 80-90z fine crosscut blade also.
I'm inclined to go this option, partly because they're a great sharpening service, and no doubt they'll prefer sharpening blades they sell and know well, as opposed to some of the more elaborate grinds (like the freud premier fusion, which is also a contender).
At ~$100 a blade, and locally available, seems I can hardly go wrong.
Can anyone vouch for Frezite blades?
