Wolfenden Table Saw - Partly restored
I thought long and hard about this sale as I really wanted to complete this saw but moving house meant a lot of things are still in storage and with the new place just don't have the space or time I once had. For more information on the saw please see:

The rundown:
- Early 1900s Australian made saw & an amazing piece of Aussie history
- For anyone who knows Wolfenden's history they made quality gear
- Rare (I assume) as I can't find that many online
- Has a very cool setup for micro adjustment for the fence
- Suite someone who is keen to finish the restore or use as is - since fitting the new motor and painting it I've used it a dozen times to cut down some timber and chopped some smaller sheeting
- I've fitted a mobile base so you can move it around your workshop and out of the way when not being used
- This saw will outlast you unlike cheap Carbatec machines and pretty much anything else built in the last 30yrs that was sub $1,000. There is not a piece of plastic on the machine apart from the new motor & switch I fitted
- I've poured a fair bit of time and money into the saw to get it to this stage inclusive of a brand new motor. The hard work is done its now just the body of the saw that needs stripping down and painting which wouldn't be a huge effort
I have the tabletop, fence and belt guard removed for storage so ready to be moved. I would just caution it's really heavy! I am pretty confident if you had a trailer between two of us we could get it on the back of the trailer or a ute.
Located at storage over in Acacia Ridge (Brisbane)
Any questions please don't hesitate to ask. I can't easily get more pics as storage is a good 30mins drive from my house so perhaps come out to take a look and I can meet you there.
Asking: $880
