A friend of mine sent me this link, rather nice workshop!
Must be a global warming sceptic with all those electron eaters, heavy duty Aircon and lots of lighting!
It'd be nice to have a purpose built set up with that much space though.
Nice looking bench, too.
He's having a laugh, isn't he?Quote:
I rounded the blower housing and painted some of the parts red to accent the looks of the cyclone.
:)
I wonder if he ever uses any of it.
Pfft. Where's the fridge?
Looks like a tv studio doesn't it! Not much WIP lying around half finished either.
Proberly only the "THINK" chair :D
Reckon you're all just green ;-}
Green is right - I work in a dark, dusty, cramped and under resourced workshop under the house, but if I had the space and financial resources this guy has, my workshop would look very different!
It'd have some daylight for one thing!
Started two years ago, and has a shop like that?
That's called having a huge amount of money to blow on whatever your hobby is. I think the fact he was going to use the shop for his show cars gives it away.
Hi
:whs:
That's ABNORMAL!
How can ANYONE work in an environment like that! I like "tidy" (which I am not) but that's "over the top"
This link is REAL LIFE!

Just as he says in his opening paragraph, most people responses to these shop tours is "its so clean"
I have spoken to this person (the last link) on occassion, nice bloke he is too, recall he does demo work as well as programming.
Fair enough Iain.
Real men don't have to live in grot.
Maybe real men with money have someone in to clean up after them ;-} If I did I would!
Theres so much sawdust and untidiness there I reckon he must be related to Major Panic :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
