I turned on at the usual time and a gardening show was on. Looks like the viewing time has slipped back or the clocks in my house are wrong or could it have been the coloured water I consumed last night.

One of the above. It was on at 9:30am as usual.
I think it is called EST - Eastern Silly Time. Happens about this time each year when the population base in mexico wind their clocks on so that they may still pay homage to that great sun god - Sol.
We tried it in Queensland once but the curtains faded prematurely, the cows went off the milk cycle, the chickens didn;t know when to hatch and the gentle folk out Mount Isa way couldn't find their way to work in the dark!
It was on at 8.30am here in Qld...
He made a bad choice using gloss on this piece, it showed up all his flaws... ;)
Thanks Gents
Forgot about daylight saving. I did a search on the Web this morning and it still showed up as 7:30am WST (usual time) but obviously I need to change something on my computer or Foxtel need to change their settings.
We keep having poles over here about daylight saving but as yet it is not in favour. I guess they will keep having the poles until it is agreed to and then there will be no further poles.
Thanks for the responses.
Or perhaps they could have a poll ?;)
Sorlwrite for you who get the programme - how or where does it screen in WA???
Pete,
Over here in the West - New Yankee Worshop can be viewed on Foxtel Lifestyle Channel. If you subscribe to Foxtel ye shall recieve Norm either from the Heavens via satelite or from Hell via underground cable. Most on this Forum would vote (another poll looming) that Norm would come from the Heavens but he does have a Develish way about him.
The show is on Saturday morning and soon to be repeated on Sunday - starts the 15th November. The only thing missing is an able bodied asssistant. Even Tim the Toolman had Al and "I can see her now but was never good on names or faces but she had a lovely pair of shoes" as assistants.
Thanks Rod
Not a subscriber - but I know someone who is.
Have video - will travel. As I don't yet have a schedule, do you know what time Sat or the repeat on Sun?
cheers

Did somebody say "poll"????
:D
Stinky
Hey Stinky,
With your valuable experiance here you could get a cushy job running referendums, Oz's biggest polls. Isn't the world just full of opportunities :)
Pete,
08.11.03 9.30am New Yankee Workshop Breakfront Cabinet
15.11.03 9.30am New Yankee Workshop Croquet Set and Bench
16.11.03 2.30am New Yankee Workshop Croquet Set and Bench
22.11.03 9.30am New Yankee Workshop Jigs, Part 1
23.11.03 2.30am New Yankee Workshop Jigs, Part 1
29.11.03 9.30am New Yankee Workshop Jigs, Part 2
30.11.03 2.30am New Yankee Workshop Jigs, Part 2
As you can see from the 16th the shows are repeated on Sundays. These are EST so our time in the west is 3 hours earlier - I think but don't quote me as I started this thread because I didn't get it right. I don't think your mate will appreciate you knocking on his door at 6:30 am so you may have to wait until the 16th.
It is well worth watching.
Thanks Rod for the detailed info. Thanks also to Moonie Sprog for the link. I'm on the case.
The lady with the <ahem> lovely shoes on Home Improvement was Heidi...
