This question has probably been asked a dozen times before!! but how do you store you sandpaper at the lathe, I am feed up raking through the wood chips for a bit I know I had two minutes before.

Hi I used purple hart on a number of occasions and found if you turner it on slightly faster spead it preforms better, but thats just my thoughts

I have only been turning since march of this year and thought I would post a picture of a bubinga bowl I have done, comments please, oh the size of the bowl is 17" across x 2.75" deep

think both pieces of work are excellent, I have t agree some times certain wood lend themselves to being left thick it makes them fell more tactile, like the pepperwood to its unusal, good to see...
