Thought I would post a couple of pictures of my latest project, the experts may scream with horror.. It may not even play just look at the sound board not what would normally be used I wanted...

that dreaded GMC thicknesser, in the info booklet it states turn the small bolts clockwise this was okak on all but 3 of the little buggers, my problem is the last 3 just won't budge and whats more...

Not fine quality by any means:U but I'm having fun with some not so flash GMC power tools.

I needed replacement screws for the base of my router.. couldn't fine any of the required size in the local hardware shops.. so.. I phoned GMC and was told I can't order direct from them.....

I read the other day about using sawdust 'n glue.. got me thinking.. after being told by one of the local woodwork experts.. "make sure you clean up all glue line..because if you don't the varnish...

if it's the same tree peppermint tree that's found on the south coast.. nine times out of ten.. you will find the trunk full of large insect holes.. the wood is very hard and the grain is all over...
