That is a very big tolerance, 8 thou (.2 mm) on single table, I would of thought 2 thou (.05 mm) at the most considering machines only job is to get stock flat.

After some user info, ie, table flatness, helical head etc, from anybody who has purchased a Rikon 8" dedicated Jointer with the helical head.
