how much shelac?
I have a desk top that has a a very thin veneer of walnut and looking at finishes.
Was thinking of oil finish and then orange shelac over that.
Sound OK? Any other recomendations for good... -

Myrtle, going by photos on the web is a bit darker than this.
I'd say this is a light coloured wood that has been sprayed in a factory and the finish has yellowed. -
