For bigger speakers (I’ve made a few) the carcass needs to be STRONG - more so for bass bins. The last thing you want is for it to resonate or to twist when you move it.

Not an expert, but I’ve found ‘school’ PVA to work just fine.
5L for $30. Sometimes thinned a little to work with a roller, easier.
Surface area is your friend. -

Sourcing ‘solid core’ ply
I am after some ply that is called (among other things) ‘solid core’ in EU and US.
Its a 3 core with a centre ply of MDF and timber skins.
It’s great for cutting with a laser, as it doesn’t...
