Hi all
I've recently purchased a refurbished 2nd hand Carbatec 14" bandsaw. It has a 6 mm, 6 tpi blade fitted.
Bearings are all nice, tracking is fine. I can't see any back and forth motion... -

You stagger bricks because the mortar/brick joint...
You stagger bricks because the mortar/brick joint is weaker than the brick itself. The idea being that any crack going up through either brick or mortar will eventually hit mortar or brick and stop....
