    JET 1442 VS Spindle Thread?

    Lathe is 2006 The manual says Spindle size is 1" X 8tpi but Vicmarc 1X8 chuck insert doesn't fit....

    N.S.W. can I use an adaptor on this chuck?

    My Jet 1442 Lathe has a 1" x 8 thread
    I looked at the Vicmarc site and they have two types direct threaded and insert type....
    can I use an adaptor on this chuck?
