This was some of the weirdest wood I have worked with. The black cherry, cross cut, was a pain to work with. It turned okay, but sanding was awful. With grain, the cherry was a breeze all the way...

From what I can see in the pic, it turned out very well. The brushed silver looks surprisingly good with that green.
