That's not a very helpful response. I have taken on all the feedback here, including trying go down the flat pack route, using an external workshop to cut pieces down to size and looking at the panel...

So some more research, I’ve found a proper melamine blade that seems to work pretty well with chip free cuts and double sided melamine.
