I have Nupower 2hp which has a higher upright compressor. :cool: Notice the new 2.5 BigW has a flatter compressor similar to Supa Cheap & Arlec compressors.

Will run a framing gun no problems. Your motor won't run continuously unless you nail at a very fast rate or have leaking pipe.

The fan will help but a computer fan is hardly big enough although the larger fan would help. It is much better blow the heat out of the cabinet. The fan used in the small CIG unit is a fast spin...

Had 2 plastic pumps replaced in unit under warranty and the 3rd plastic pump blew the top 2 months after warranty and they wouldn't touch the unit as they had perform...

The cut out switch is set above 100 psi out of the box.

Still available yesterday at Bunnings Mile End & Marion stores in S.A. but not at the above price. Price yesterday for BG200A was $98.30. :o Have been looking weekly since this site showed.

Had trip down to Bunnies at Mile End last Saturday to find no GMC products with reduced prices. I'll have to stop reading about specials on this site as they don't seem to get to the Mile End store...

The Big W air compressor/ spray paint can/ hose/fittings ($148 in S.A.) seem to work OK as my unit once it re-starts running (83 p.s.i) will continue to spray. Looks as though the pump will produce...

journeyman Mick - The 5" disc from your larger 14" original disc seem to powder quickly once they get down in size. Not the same material closer to the centre. My experience.

There are metal devices for mounting an angle grinder to make neat angle cuts which are less than $100. 4" one costs about $30.00. Larger unit for 9" is about $60. SupaCheap?

If your saw has bush bearings. It will not last long with metal fillings. :mad:
Metal fillings cut out bush bearings very quickly and there is extra weight/ virbration on bearings cutting metal....

Big W in S.A. has air compressor (oil, 206 lt/p.m., 122lt line supply) with paint spray can and line (nitto fittings) for $148.00. Tank is 24 lt. Very happy with the unit. :D

Big W in South Australia has 150 piece kit with various bits, stones, cutter discs, polisher pads for approx $28.00. All in display case with racks.
