For the record, the performance of SawStop sales had nothing to do with me leaving Gabbett Machinery. In fact, it was commented that SawStop has been the best selling new product for the company...

Most of you would be aware of my association with Gabbett Machinery, and the SawStop machine in particular.

As of Friday the 16th of January, I am no longer employed by Gabbett...

Changing the cartridge is as easy as changing the blade. I can have the machine up and running within two minutes, but to be fair, you should allow a whole five minutes ( :oo: ) if you've never done...

The crumple zone itself does not stop the blade. The crumple zone is there to absorb a lot of the energy that makes itself apparent when you fire a block of aluminium into a sawblade and stop...

I never stated that SawStop was a 'last resort life saving device'. Read it again; I called it a 'last resort safety measure' ie - when all else fails, SawStop kicks in.
