Ive got the makita and its been good for me. Easy...
Ive got the makita and its been good for me. Easy to align when needed, very robust. If it got nicked Id buy the same in a flash. Hitachi tools are very good. Dewalt are overrated I believe.

For what its worth, I used to use 800, 1200 then 6000 waterstones but found it a bit of a pain with the water, the tupperware boxes, the flattening with a sheet of glass and wet and dry etc....
