Fletty, how much material (in millimetres) are you trying to remove on each pass?
Trying to remove too much material each pass can cause chatter. Chatter can very quickly cause the bit to come loose. -

1/16" Roundover bit
I use a 1/16" (1.6mm) Roundover bit in a router table for that job. It's perfect for it.
It means doing both sides - but that's not hard.
A lot cheaper than getting a special one made.

Spray adhesive
I have considered spray adhesive, but was concerned about how difficult it may be to then remove the suckers and then clean the glue off the disc. The PSA discs just pull off and press a new one on....
