My wife's two sisters are teachers so I thought I would give these teachers pens a try. The center is Rose wood one end is Padauk and the other is ebony.

Just 20 degree cuts glue in the small strip. I did this on all four sides.

Here is another try. I think I am getting it now so the next one wont be on a slimline ...

I am really enjoying the acrylic blanks. Here is one I did after work today. It's a Classic Roller ball the blank is black and gold I didn't paint the tubes hoping that I would get a little shimmer...

I didn't want the copper tube to show through so on the Fountain pen I colored them black which worked out well. I was not think when I did the roller ball, I also colored the tubes...

Since for the swap I want to do something a little nicer than a slimline, so here is my first tries at a Classic fountain and roller ball and a comfort pen....

I took the plunge today and picked up a Jet ProShop table saw..Nice fence and came with a 5 year in house warranty and 2 36" clamps to boot..Compared to my old bench top saw this thing is...
