I bought the Vermont American router dovetail jig and gave it back to Bunnings.
The Jig is no longer supported by the new owners.... BOSCH... So you can't buy the necessary collet for your router,...

If you cant buy one for you router.

You can always go to an engineering shop, and get a 1/4 inch collet made to suit your router.:)

Thanks for the insite into the splitting problem.

Some of the timber will be hopefully for turning, but the majority will be slabs.
I believe for turning you need to wax both ends. But...
