Yes they are very clean which made me wonder - are these machine made? They are a pair of wood earrings which I'm trying to emulate in sizes 20mm up to 80mm tall.

After reading up on this over the last few days it appears there are 4 construction methods worth considering::


1. Ladder core with Mahogany veneer ‘planks’ glued to both faces.

If I take termite infested wood miles away from the nest will the termites in the infested wood die or just munch on regardless?

The seller is telling me there will only be 20% waste all up as they are "good logs" hmmm... some bovine waste in the air seems...

That's interesting - so basically 10 cubic meters of average size Cedar logs are worth $1,000 ?

Seems cheap but you know far more about this than I - so you may lose as much as 50% - 80% in waste...

Sizes from 50mmx70mmx1.2m up to larger boards for fascias etc.

Was also looking for some approx 10inch x 6inch x 6 meter posts for some feature...
