I have the same Bandsaw as yours and have no problem with cutting straight as long as the blades are sharp,

Bought These very old stock Planks of Wood of what the salesman Said was Mahogany, I've had them in my garage for over 30 years thinking one day I'd use them, Never got around to use them all....

I Haven't had any problems with mine, as I set the lathe exactly this way when a bought it from Jim Carrolls. Very happy with Mine.

I've Made a few Jigs set at different angles to suite my Band Saw, "See Pics" I set the angle with a screw then when I reach the wright Angle I glue and screw together.
