    Picked this up this morning.
    Bearings smooth and no ridges on the reeves pulleys.
    The steady rest looks like a metal lathe version

    Well eventually got the nut off the headstock spindle. Would not budge so drilled and cut it off and made a new one.
    The bearings were rough. Managed to find replacements from the local bearing...
