I use 6mm 8tpi I don't have any trouble with blockage you can cut nice corners, To get even space around the draws I use pre pasted felt. regards john. -

I use a 1/4 inch 8tpi it seems to work ok, also when I fit a new blade on the bandsaw with tension I turn it on and hold a rubstone on the back corners , I think it helps to go... -
