I'm using west system 105 206 hardener and 403 thickener, with the recommende 5:1 ratio.
however, the mixture either remains tacky for weeks or semi sets with no strength... -

You would find the gwen a lot easier to sail than a 16 or 18 footer, Nothing like a laser. As with all old boats there will be plenty of work to do before you get your feet wet.

Would imagine that old boats would be heavier as they tend to take up water over their lives.

If it's an old one, then I have the measurements for them. But the rig was modernised in the 70's I think, with a deck sweeping jib to try and compete with the Cherubs.

Hi All,
New member as at today. I'm looking for any information on Gwen 12 sailing dinghies. I sailed one in the 60s and early 70s and have considered restoring one if the right boat came alone....
