Im currently refinishing a Jackson copy 4 string Bass, then Im starting by 3rd build which is my own design neck through 6 string. Somewhere in there Ill be restoring a mate's Hofner.

All I can say is I love Micro mesh.

The pads arrrived in teh mail and I levelled the surface with 400, 600 wet, 800 wet a nd 1200 wet.

Then the wet sanding with teh micromesh began. all teh way...

Bren, take your typical Fender 25.5 inch scale or Gibson 24.75 inch scale nut widths around 43mm is pretty standard with the 21 or 22 fret mark around 56mm or so. ...

Practice on your neck pockets dude. Thats a make or break area.

before I started my first build I started stripping an old bass. Ill be finishing that. Alder bodied hybrid with Fender vintage P-Bass pups and a Jazz pup in the bridge. Arctic white Black hardware.

The bridge I have is very similar to the one you've posted, with compensated "saddles".

Next steps are done.

Drilled pup cable channel through to control cavity and drilled jack access.

Applied 1 degree angle to tenon and test fitted OK.
