Something you might try before heating things up is a Loctite product called freeze and release, its worked well for me on a couple of occasions, Repco sell the stuff.

RouteyFruity, have you replaced the bearings yet? If not let me know I'm sure I've got an article on replacing MOF 96 bearings somewhere, will try to look it out if you still need it.

Hutch, have a look at recordpower.co.uk their TS200C looks like the same saw on a different base. They had a review from British Woodworking that was pretty favourable, used to be on their site...
