You need streamline bushings, I did the same thing but they don't turn out too bad with the slimline.

Trouble with streamline bushings is you only get one big one with a set so you need two sets...

Looks good, but I assume you mean the cartridge was once fired? If the bullet was fired it wouldn't look any where near that good.

I will quite often do just mothers plastic polish after I sand acrylic without using MM and it comes up pretty good. Haven't tried just that on CA though.

Try using a kit which has big bushes and leaves a lot of meat on the tube. There is not much between the tube and the world with slimlines.
