I dont have an Alko off road hitch, read on my swag forum a guy put one on and hated it. I have an ozhitch and it is great, have had tregg/trigg ones and they are a pain compared to OzHitch

I Know, but as i have put rated chains on the trailer, i couldnt weld them on. I still think using rated shackles, which are fixed so they can not come loose, is as good as if not better than...

Used etch primer, then primer and the crap still...
Used etch primer, then primer and the crap still scrapes off (just by movement of wood on it). I used Kill rust on outside (white) and it seems to be a lot more hardy

Tray Trailer Finally Finished
Getting rego done on Thursday....finally.
Tare weight came in at 640kg, rated for 2.8T, will have to add spare tyre and tool box later

The last of what i have done so far, coated the chasis with a 3M body deadener from Super Cheap. This stuff is much better than the other tar based stuff they used to have. Painted on with brush....
