I just bought a MLT 100 on friday, First thoughts are that they are considerably heavier then the previous models but this is due to the extending arms that allow you to rip wider things such as ply....

its a pretty standard leather pouch that rolls...
its a pretty standard leather pouch that rolls up, just a cheap one you can buy at most hardwares, can't think of the brand. I'll clean them all up sharpen them and spray with wd40 and put them away...

I do believe Hilti are moving into making more...
I do believe Hilti are moving into making more wood working tools, nothing major but they do circular saws now.
Based in Sydney and I must say the reps are pretty good.
