Did some research and found that is due to copyright laws. Google only allows access to pre 1880 work if you live outside the US. In the us they go up to the late 20's at least.

For wire labels you can use clear heatshrink with either a paper or dymo label inside.

The viscosity for ISO 68 on the chart I found matches up between 20SAE and 30SAE at 40 degrees celcius.
But SAE specs are measured at 100 degrees celcius.

I use hydraulic oil in my gear head lathe.
ISO 68 is approximately equivalent to SAE 30 in viscosity.
A lot of hydraulic pumps are just two gears meshed together so that is what reassured me to use...

The old VW bus axles are a very common flanged CV joint.
They use a flanged CV joint on each end and then a splined shaft to join the two together.
From memory search for VW type 2 CV's.

MIne cuts on the backward stroke,
Blade lift on forward.
Work out on which stroke the blade is lifted and put the teeth so they cut going the other way.

Looks like you could machine the claw assembly down so the new tube goes over the top.
This can be done with no dissassembly required.
You can then weld the tube to the remains of the claw...

The backplate bolts need to be just cracked not loosened that much. Try loosening each one and then nip it back up to light finger pressure.
You can use a soft hammer to tap the chuck into position....

The way to do this with limited tools is chain drilling.
You mark the outline you want to remove.
Then using a small drill bit say 3mm drill a serial of holes all around the outline.
