tidy'ed up the cross bolts, and spent most of the weekend sanding down to 320, then giving it a good rub over with a very fine foam sanding pad, acted more as a buff than sanding.

ok, bedding and cross bolts installed i "keyed"...

i "keyed" the bedding area with the dremel to give the devcon a good surface to lock on to.

yea theres no way i would make it so thin on a centerfire, but a big part of the motivation was it being easy for a little person to handle so as you say the smiles speak for themselves

got boored and so i sanded the bedding back to flush with the stock last nite, so with nothing better to do i rubbed a good coat of truoil into the stock with steel wool.
