    Thanks for your tip. Looked through the Grizzly web-site and whilst the bandsaws were similar, the thrust bearing on my machine is set up 90 degrees out with the back of the blade...

    A few years agao when I was living in Tamworth my shed was flooded by about 6" of water and I had forgotten that the manual for my bandsaw was stored in the machine's storage...
