All you have to do is move the gearbox lever to the second position and pull the locking pin on the pulley and you will get a reduction of 10 to 1
it works something similar to the back gear on...

Thanks for the info.
Used it today and it worked well on a 1/2" blad corbonsteel, only problem was I ddn't have any thin sheet of silver solder, had to hammer the round stick flat.:U
