:2tsup: Nice work! It is strange to be building in summer, but now that it is cold there, I can relate. Bad weather outside means good building inside (and slower cure times). :)

Hal Kelly designs were very competitive and respected in late 40's and 50's. He was a racer the utilities and hydros were fast. With okoume and epoxy, they would be even better. I would not hesitate...
