They look good to me. I've been working on some as well but using .30-06 shells and bullets. A couple look good but a couple were a disaster! The disasters were, for the most part, just foolish...

When you say bullet pens, which are you reffering to? Made from kits or real bullets? I've started making some from real bullets but I'm not so sure it's worth all the extra effort. :?

I have a couple of casings a friend gave me. He said they were ss. But when I chucked them up they scratched (ARGH!) showing brass underneath. I would think they are nickel plated.
