Hi
I just bought a used Triton 2000 and found that the chassis clamps to hold the saw in place just slide on off, no thread hold whatsoever.
I read that somebody re-tapped them for a larger... -

i agree that it is not going to be worth it especially considering the modifications required and if there is a warranty problem one may need to scrap the whole machine. -
