That's probably the right term. I first thought you were speaking about a die filing machine. My mistake.

When you say die grinder... are you referring to what I know as a 'filing machine'?

Some of the watchmaker's lathes are set-out that way. I've read that a lot of continental watchmaker's used the graver left handed. Mine isn't built that way though. A Lorch, that says "Germany" on...
