To be clear then, are you saying that you have imbedded threaded inserts into the table table in line with the 6 holes (three per side) of the mounting plate at 3" centres? Something like nutserts...

Yes we do have a wonderfence and have worked out that this is the cause of the discrepancy although only after we had drilled holes for the mount as instructed...
