I got one of these halogen light heaters. Uses three 400W halogen globes independently switched (400-800-1200W).

No flames, exposed electric elements etc. Safe(r) with sawdust, flammable vapours...

What type is your motherboard and how old? Some older boards will need a BIOS update to "see" large capacity disks. Some will not be able to be flashed.
