If i use 50x25 all mounted vertically for the whole setup i can fit it in between rail and guard.... No guard mods needed

if i go over the top of the guard then...

i was planning on running everything down the sides of the side rail.....there is absolutely no room on the deck at all....the car takes up the total width.....it is a wide trailer....as wide as is...

I think to work well the truss needs to be designed very well it cant just be slapped on and i have a bulletproof trailer .... Like u say the uprights would need to be in important positions ..and id...

Yeh adding some more weld easy enough....at the moment it is zig zagged in a way that there is no more then a gap of 20cms between welds on a zig zag

i assumed a bit of a bow would...

they were removed for 2 reasons.....1. the car would not fit between them 2. they were very poorly made and were basically useless because of the poor design

what is acceptable bowing of the drawbar when loaded? (car weighs about 1400kg) it looked like i was getting some bow when i put a flat bar underneath....

Yeh it is yonnee ( was done by supposed professional).... The jury is still out on whether or not im worried about the drawbar weld.... Ive seen quite a few old very used trailers with welds across...

Ok i understand what you are saying ill try to do some practice on some spare steel .... A local fabrictor i have dealt with for a few years said he'd do it for under $100 with his industrial...

I can tilt it on its side to let the pool sit still ...

Ill give it a go when the steal turns up....

Exactly the plan i had in mind ill put it together here then tow it to a fabricator with the knowledge and equipment to lay some nice stitch welds down inside and outside ..... a stitch...

i totally agree.....he says he will repeat the dam thing again and completely missed the fact that it broke because of the support being welded across
