There's a training video available for the Triton that goes through the setup. I'm sure there was a bit in it that had a work around for any looseness in the protractor. Might even be on youtube

Somewhere on here there is a thread with the stick on pointers you can print out. I've been looking but can't for the life of me find it. Someone else might have an idea where they are located.

Couldn't you fit an external speed controller? Easier to access for one thing when table mounted and by the sound of it more reliable. That's what I'm going to do if mine ever gives me grief.

What is actually wrong with the armature ?

There is a solvent you can use to remove the epoxy without damaging the board but I'm buggered if I can remember what it is

Thanks Mick, a maxi table is on the list. Finally got it all bolted together and cutting true. The Triton saw makes that task a bit easier. Couple of companies down this end of the world still stock...
