750 rpm is okay for spindles but probably too fast for rough...

These are outstanding.
I just viewed the first one and tried the english subtitles for the sport of it.
The transcriptions were interesting at times but it is the content
which is important....

I don't have much experience with camphor but with some species
vibrant colors will last longer if finished pieces are kept out of direct sunlight.

You will find them in the standard sizes in the plumbing dept. @ most hardware stores.

I once used oak butcher block slabs to turn a Lazy Susan.
The nice part is that it matched the kitchen it went to.
The bearings can be found at woodworking supply shops.
