i was gonna colour it black with some tint from the paint shop. the crack is 30cm long, right through the piece & at its widest about 3mm.

First the split, its about 30cm long and travels in from one end & goes right through the 35mm thick piece....

It was flat, but in the 3 months i've had it , it has now warped from one corner to the opposite...

Ok will attach some pics later today.. Is there such thing as a spacer/ extender? Something maybe 10mm long you drop into the collet to extend the reach of the bit? Though I imagine that's dangerous...
