Until I watched some of that video I wasn't aware the Makita had a useful range of adjustment from above the table so that's very interesting.
Its an amazing video and I'd be keen to get the plans...

I'd considered this a while ago and at the time noted quite a few bad reviews, not just about speed control but general quality and lack of QA, so lost interest.
Current reviews seem a bit better...

That's a nice router, I have a 3600BR and previously use it under a Triton table but it's a pain to adjust height bits etc.
